which “bad” habits have you been guilting yourself for indulging in? what’s been eating at you, causing self-blame and hate? today we are on the moon’s playground and she is guiding you to try something new in your approach. the moon does not only govern our emotions and subconscious mind but also our background, history, and roots. this is important because in your guilt and shame you fail to identify the root of the problem (notice this does not say your problem. see this for a brief explanation of what this means). where did you pick up these habits? aren’t habits learned? this is not about a lack of accountability, this is about freeing yourself from what, in truth, does not belong to you. today, you identify the root of your afflictions and create the possibility of uprooting them tomorrow.
exiting basic duality (good/bad, right/wrong) you find yourself exploring: ‘was i taught healthy habits or detrimental habits?’ questions begin to show their need for answers.
for example: what have you seen in your environments? what was demonstrated to you? how did these experiences make you feel? how did they shape you?
these answers matter. they can help you escape the bondage of habits and patterns, and from the cycles of shame and self-destruction.
maybe you fail to clean up after yourself and fail to pay your bills. you could fail to refrain from overindulgence in drugs and alcohol, or you fail to exercise. whatever you fail to do you can also learn to master! each day in which you make a conscious effort to heal and improve cannot possibly be a failure. the reality is that you have been living in effect without knowledge of cause! the sooner you begin your exploration of your development, and the origin of the infirmities restricting you, the sooner you can step into freedom from them.
peace be.
